Industry: Golf Course
A golf course operator needed a more accessible way for staff to navigate and find shared files. Moving the content to SharePoint was part of the work, but the user experience also depended on how the destination sites were connected and presented.
6th Street Consulting migrated and organized file-share content into multiple SharePoint Online sites connected through a hub. The engagement combined that architecture with a central homepage and user training to help employees work with the new structure.
One starting point for connected information
The hub architecture provided a central place to search the connected content, reducing the need for users to decide which individual site to open before beginning a search. The hub homepage was also configured to show the connected sites, making the overall structure easier to navigate.
For the content intended to be broadly available internally, 6SC simplified access using SharePoint’s Everyone except external users group. That was a choice for this project’s internal-access requirements; content permissions still determine what each user can see.

Organized content sites
File-share material was migrated and organized into multiple SharePoint Online sites, giving the content a defined destination.
A connected hub
The sites were associated with a hub to support a common discovery experience. Hub association itself does not replace a site's permissions.
A useful homepage
The homepage showed the connected sites so users had a clearer route into the information they needed.
Training and internal access
User training supported the transition, while the configured internal-access model made broadly shared content easier for intended staff to reach.
Better findability supported by a usable structure
Golf Course Operator’s staff gained a central starting point for search and clearer navigation across the connected sites. The project paired the technical migration with the practical work of helping users understand and use their new file hub.
