KPRS, a leader in construction and development, recognized the need to enhance its intranet to keep pace with growth and evolving project demands. The existing platform, while functional, needed restructuring and modernization to better support employees across departments.
6SC’s engagement began with a re-architecture of the SharePoint site structure, providing a foundation for improved governance and scalability. From there, the team helped KPRS implement custom apps and workflows that streamlined project collaboration and improved knowledge sharing.
With KPRS, the challenge was less about technology and more about making the intranet a tool employees would truly use. The changes we made gave them efficiency and visibility into how their intranet supports daily work.
A key area of focus was automation. Using Power Automate, 6SC worked with KPRS to define workflows that replaced manual, repetitive processes. These included project notifications, document approvals, and task tracking. Challenges arose in determining which processes should be automated versus those that required oversight.
