Microsoft SharePoint Deployment Planning Services (SDPS) 
SDPS allows Microsoft customers to use their Software Assurance Benefits to pay certified partners for SharePoint deployment and upgrade services. With SharePoint Deployment Planning Services, customers can leverage best practices and plan an effective deployment of SharePoint Server 2010 (or 2007), plan their upgrade to SharePoint Server 2010 or plan a deployment of SharePoint for Internet Sites. Partners love delivering SharePoint Deployment Planning Services because they can leverage pre-built engagement materials to deliver customer engagements that often lead to follow-on work.
Program Offers SDPS has three offerings:
SharePoint Deployment Planning – Help your customers develop customized SharePoint 2010 (or SharePoint 2007) deployment plans with the SharePoint deployment planning offer. This flexible offer allows you to focus on scenarios that are most relevant to your customer based on their unique needs.
SharePoint 2010 Upgrade Planning – Designed for customers who have already deployed SharePoint 2007, the 2010 upgrade offer centers around helping customers discover the value of upgrading, and planning their upgrades early by building a customized migration plan.
SharePoint for Internet Sites - This offer helps customers plan to use Office SharePoint Server to deliver an end-to-end web platform with web content management, digital asset management, search, and commerce.
These offering engagements can vary in length (1-day, 3-day, 5-day, 10-day and 15-day) depending on the amount of Software Assurance Benefits customers have available.
Custom Planning - In addition to offering Microsoft's planning services, we also build custom plans for our clients. We understand that your company is unique and we will work with you to develop a plan that is specific to your business needs.
